A project in the Northern Territory of Australia aims to make it easier to identify high quality crocodile skin to be sold as exotic leather into fashion houses. They will be producing a reference guide next month based on a crocodile skin research project. One component of the project will allow producers to look at imperfections on raw skins and determine if they will be noticeable on the final tanned and dyed product.
