Crocodile skin is tanned and used for various products while the flesh are cut up and utilized as bait for big game fish. CSG is a global network of crocodile specialists, biologists, researchers, farmers, tanners, and private companies engaged in protecting 23 crocodile species. This network works closely with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
