According to the article:**** "The [steampunk](http://www.autoevolution.com/news/steampunk-mini-countryman-by-carlex-design-photo-gallery-45895.html) interior created for the MINI Countryman by Carlex Design received a lot of attention across the Internet, so we decided to see what other cool project the Polish customized had up its long sleeves. A quick search revealed they did something extraordinary and unexpected for one of our favorite Mercedes automobiles, the CLS four-door coupe. We’ve head of all sorts of leathers being used lately, snake skin, ostrich leather and even kangaroo, but it’s been some time since we last saw an alligator leather project. Yes, you heard us right, the hides of those scary reptiles can be turned into luxury interiors for cars, in this case for a Mercedes Benz luxury saloon. The custom job done by Carlex Design combines normal read leather, black nappa for the seat centers and the expensive Florida crocodile skin for the dash, steering wheel, head rests and accents." ![crocodile leather car interior](https://www.panamleathers.com/hs-fs/file-12756486-jpg/images/crocodile_leather_car_interior.jpg) Topics: [crocodile skin](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/crocodile-skin), [interiors](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/interiors) ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Posts by Topic - [alligator skin (65)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/alligator-skin) - [crocodile skin (47)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/crocodile-skin) - [python skin (45)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/python-skin) - [footwear (34)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/footwear) - [handbags (32)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/handbags) - [stingray skin (26)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/stingray-skin) - [caiman skin (24)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/caiman-skin) - [ostrich skin (24)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/ostrich-skin) - [wallets & small leather goods (24)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/wallets-small-leather-goods) - [belts & accessories (21)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/belts-accessories) - [garments (19)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/garments) - [interiors (14)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/interiors) - [lizard skin (14)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/lizard-skin) - [custom tanning (13)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/custom-tanning) - [Sustainability (7)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/sustainability) - [Ethics (6)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/ethics) - [arapaima skin (6)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/arapaima-skin) - [eel skin (6)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/eel-skin) - [exotic skin grades (5)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/exotic-skin-grades) - [shell cordovan leather (5)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/shell-cordovan-leather) - [CITES (4)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/cites) - [beaver tail skin (3)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/beaver-tail-skin) - [shark skin (3)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/shark-skin) - [kangaroo (2)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/kangaroo) - [anaconda skin (1)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/anaconda-skin) - [lamb skin (1)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/lamb-skin) - [phone case (1)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/phone-case) - [zebra skin (1)](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/topic/zebra-skin) [![New call-to-action](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/152878/53e9c486-7567-4ae9-8831-c220e9d8962f.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/152878/53e9c486-7567-4ae9-8831-c220e9d8962f) [![Download the Free Crocodilian Footwear Guide!](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/152878/19069c6f-a3bd-4e4b-99d5-0156021e3252.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/152878/19069c6f-a3bd-4e4b-99d5-0156021e3252) ### Contact Info - **[ 347 West 36th Street Suite 505 New York, NY 10018](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Pan+American+Leathers,+Inc./@40.7544564,-73.9943233,15z/data=!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x0:0xd9565edd926e54d4!2sPan+American+Leathers,+Inc.!8m2!3d40.7544564!4d-73.9943233!3m4!1s0x0:0xd9565edd926e54d4!8m2!3d40.7544564!4d-73.9943233) - ** (978) 741-4150 x 1 - **[ 86 Rue des Archives 75003 Paris, France](https://www.google.com/maps/place/86+Rue+des+Archives,+75003+Paris,+France/@48.8630663,2.3585662,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x47e66e0436bbd4af:0xbf4ff5ea5f4a2465!8m2!3d48.8630628!4d2.3607602) - **+33 1 42 72 79 59 - [** info@panamleathers.com](mailto:info@panamleathers.com) - [**](https://www.instagram.com/panamleathers/) [**](https://www.facebook.com/panamleathers/) [**](https://twitter.com/panamleathers) [**](https://www.youtube.com/user/PanAmLeathersInc) [**](https://www.linkedin.com/company/pan-american-leathers-inc.) ### My Account ### Information ### Shop [**](https://www.panamleathers.com/blog/bid/172109/Exotic-Leather-Product-of-the-Week-Crocodile-Leather-Car-Interior#back-to-top)
